The Hatha yoga postures are taught to assure alignment, sharing of weight between the left and right sides, develop the right kind of breathing and enhance balancing. The postures are designed to open many channels of the body, especially the main channel, spine, to allow energy to flow freely. Hatha poses comprise seated, standing, bending, twisting and inversion. There are multi-level classes for all practitioners. Beginners can opt for the basic class, regular practitioners can attempt intermediate or advanced level class for improvement.
The main objective of hatha yoga is to create an absolute balance of the interacting asana and processes of the physical body, mind and energy. When this balance is created, the impulses generated give a call to awakening of higher consciousness. Hatha yoga harmonies the positive and negative forces.
